Dock Southern Farms

…is a female-owned family farm in Western North Carolina that was founded in 1890 by William Southern and is currently operated by his great-granddaughter, Cindy Southern Marion. Originally encompassing over 200-acres of Surry county land, the farm currently sits on roughly 25-acres of rolling hills just outside of Pilot Mountain, NC. Traditionally a Black Angus and Tobacco farm, these days Dock Southern Farms produces honey, pumpkins, seasonal flowers and artisanal goods as well as playing host to concerts, family outings and weddings. The farm has recently been featured on DailyMailTV, WXII, Fox8 and in Successful Farming Magazine. Click the links to learn more about our journey!
